This is the original version of the class, commissioned by High Chancellor L'Rell to unite the Klingon Houses. The ship was designed by Ryan Dening, who was careful to pay homage to Matt Jefferies' original and the redesigned version made for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Dening's version has been seen in both Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The
